Fractured Teeth. Cracks or breaks in the enamel and dentin (chipped or fractured teeth). Requires prompt assessment to check the pulp.
Dislodged Teeth. Teeth that have been dislodged from their normal position (pushed in, out, or sideways). Needs immediate effort to reposition and stabilize your tooth.
Soft Tissue Injuries. Injuries to the gums (gingiva), lips, cheeks, or tongue (oral injuries). Often accompanied by facial injuries.
Root Fractures. A break in the root portion of the tooth. May require additional treatment like dental splinting or endodontic treatment.
Knocked-Out Tooth. A complete displacement of the tooth from the socket (tooth avulsion). Time is the biggest factor in the chance of saving the natural tooth through tooth reimplantation.
